Directions:
- Cosby Ranger Station House:
- Coming on US Highway 321 from Gatlinburg, turn right (toward the Park) on TN Highway 32 South.
- It is 1.2 miles to the Park entrance.
- Turn right at the Cosby entrance.
- Drive less than one half mile to the sign for Government Quarters (Ranger Station).
- Turn left into the housing area.
- Park at the house next to the Ranger Station: #125, also called #517.
- Key box is on the front door.
- Cosby Campground House:
- 1.7 miles further up the Cosby Park road toward the Campground, straight past the little check-in station.
- Park in the area below the house.
- The key box is on the front door.

Collecting Permit
- Everyone
doing research in the Park is required to obtain a collecting permit.
- This can be applied for online on the National Park Service Research Permit and Reporting System.
