Grant Program

  • Grants have been offered each year since 2000 to support scientists working on the ATBI.
  • Annual funding has ranged from $45,000 to $100,000, with individual awards of up to $5,000.

Backlog Data List and Reports

  • Non-DLIA Grant ATBI Data has been stockpiling for some time now.
  • Discover Life in America staff has taken on the job of gathering this data and preparing it
    for inclusion into the ATBI Database. Please check out the list of data and, as they are finished
    for appending, reports will be available to view on the web!

Explore the ATBI Database - Beta Version

  • The database is a repository for all data for the ATBI. It is open to students, teachers, researchers, and the general public.
Workshop ATBI Science Plan
  • The ATBI Science Plan was written in 2000 by the Science Committee and reviewed by Park Staff and the DLIA Advisory Panel, including Dr. Dan Janzen, Dr. Peter Raven, and Dr. E.O. Wilson. Please call the DLIA Executive Director for all inqueries at (865) 430-4757.
