Information Page for Toxicodendron pubescens (Poison oak)

Unlike poison ivy, poison oak does not grow roots from its stem joints, nor is it a climber. Like poison ivy it has a 3-leaflet leaf configuration.

The persistent and toxic oils from all parts of this plant can burn and blister human skin.
