This perennial is the one that can make you itch. The irritant oils are on most parts of this plant. It can grow as a shrub or a climbing vine. It tends to be found on the edge of wooded areas.

This small member of the Sumac family can be quickly picked out of the foliage by seeking a low-growing, or climbing plant with a three-leaflet (2 to 4 inch) configuration. In May or June they produce clusters of tiny yellow-green, five-petal flowers. These will turn into small, hard, dry, white or grayish white fruits.
