Appearance: Green on its back with dark, and sometimes faint, green verticle stripes down its sides. As its name indicates, it has a blush of orange to red coloration on its undersides. It can grow up to approximately 8 inches in length.

Habitat: In the park, it is typically a warmwater stream fish inhabiting the lower end of streams like Tabcat Creek, Shop Creek, and Abrams Creek above creek embayments.
