Information Page for Micropterus punctulatus (Spotted bass)

Appearance: The back is a greenish brown with a white underbelly. On the side there is a row of connected dark blotches that end at the tail. They can grow up to 24 inches in length.

Habitat: Streams and reservoirs.

Interesting Fact: Once the eggs of this species hatch, the frye can usually leave the nest in just 8 days.
