Gall and Leafminer Blitz

Join us for a Gall and Leaf Miner ‘Blitz in Cades Cove on Friday, November 22th from 10am to 3pm. This is a free and family friendly event!
What are galls and leaf miners? Both galls and leaf miner activity are signs of parasitic insects living inside plant tissue…This is a great opportunity to do some community science and learn something new!
We will use the free iNaturalist app to record our findings, so it’s helpful to download the app and create an account, prior to the event.
