Join us for our first volunteer event of the year on Saturday, March 1 from 4:30 to 8:30pm to survey amphibians in Cades Cove!
We’ll be working with experts from the Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy (arcprotects.org), University of TN and Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont (gsmit.org) to document any frogs and salamanders we see, calls we hear and egg masses we find!
This annual symposium showcases the research happening in and around the Great Smoky Mountains. Topics are wide-ranging, from weather and climate to zoology, botany, geology, conservation, and more! Talks are meant to be engaging to a broad audience and recorded to YouTube. All are welcome to attend this free virtual event!
